SP late Mr. Abdul Khalek , a distinguished educationist , ‘The Chittagong Metropolitan Institution’ was established in 1963, which was transformed into CMP School & College in 2018. Since the dawn of establishment, this institution has systematically been governed by Chattogram Metropolitan Police administration with direct supervision of Honorable CMP Commissioner.
The children of all classes people including the members of police families have access to education in this institution . At present, this institution under the same authority has three wings to spread the light of education among the students who are of (a) primary section (b) secondary section and (c) higher secondary section or
college section. All the educational facilities, which are modern and epoch-making, are deliberately provided to the learners to build up their sustainable career. More importantly, this institution belongs to a cluster of teachers who are brilliant, experienced and skilled enough to keep pace with globalization of the 21st century. In the past, though the institution provided education to the secondary level till 2017,
the ex-honorable CMP commissioner Mr. Md. Iqbal Bahar, BPM, PPM , upgraded to Higher Secondary level on 15 March 2018. CMPSC is always committed to nurturing a smart and innovative generation of leaders and workforce who will manage to play the pioneering roles to propel the country in all aspects.
